How we handle your information

Galvatech Sdn Bhd ("we", "us", "our") operates this website (www.galvatech.com.my). This page explains what information we collect from visitors, how we use it, and how to reach us about it.

Information we collect

Contact form

When you fill in the enquiry form on our Contact page, the form opens a pre-filled email in your own email application addressed to us — it does not submit to a server or database on this site. Once you send that email, we receive and keep your name, email address, and message like any other email, so we can respond to your enquiry.

Chat assistant

Messages you type into the chat widget are sent to our server to generate a reply, but are not stored in any database — each message is processed to produce a response and then discarded. Your conversation history is kept only in your own browser (in "session storage") so it's still there if you keep chatting, and it clears automatically once you close that browser tab.

How we use your information

We use the information above only to respond to enquiries, provide quotations, and answer questions about our services. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

This site uses a small number of external services to function:

• Google Maps — embedded on the Contact page to show our factory location. Google may set its own cookies when this loads; see Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — used for the typefaces across this site, loaded from Google's servers.

Data retention

We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry and maintain business records. Chat messages are not retained on our servers at all, as described above.

Your rights

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To do so, contact us using the details below.
